Corbin Bernsen is a very well known name in TV world. His father Henry Bernsen is a Hollywood producer and his mother, Jeanne Cooper, is an actress. He attended Beverly Hills High School, California and graduated from UCLA with a degree in Theatre Arts and he also has a Master’s degree in Playwriting from the same University. In the soap opera, ‘Ryan’s Hope’, he appeared as a leading character and this role made him a well known celebrity among the national TV viewers. He earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his role in the hit primetime Steven Bochco series ‘LA Law’. He appeared in guest roles in various shows such as ‘Seinfeld’ and ‘The Larry Sanders Show’. While filming ‘Major League’, a feature film, he got involved in a real life altercation with his co-star Charlie Sheen. He suffered a slight tear in his rotator cuff, and the injury left him unable to throw a baseball. That’s why, he was not seen in on-field baseball actions in the sequels of ‘Major League’.
In ‘General Hospital’, he played the attorney John Durant; In ‘Cuts’, he appeared as Jack Sherwood; He played a lawyer in a hit law-oriented series ‘Law & Order’. In the military drama ‘JAG’, he portrayed the Captain Owen Sebring.
Corbin Bernsen has also produced and directed a horror movie, ‘Dead Air’. He’s married to Amanda Pays, a British Actress; they married on November 19, 1988. The couple has four sons, namely Oliver Miller, Henry and Angus (the twins), and Finley. He has around 7000 snow globes- one of the biggest snow globe collections in the world.
