“I think anyone who comes and watches this show definitely laughs out loud at least once,” said Dulé Hill, better known as Burton “Gus” Guster of the most comedy-drama ‘Psych’ adding, “so if you’re looking to just step away from all the stress for a second then I would say check out Psych.” Gus is one of my favorite character other than Shawn Spencer portrayed by James Roday. Both characters are best friends and business partners. I completely agrees with him when he further praises about his show, “Well there’s so much serious stuff going on in the world I think it’s a great show to come and sit back, put your feet up, and laugh for a little bit; just clear your minds.”

Well the season 4 has started on August 7 with a bang giving fans a good time to laugh. Season’s first episode, “Extradition: British Columbia” took Gus and Shawn on a vocation in Vancouver. In their holiday too they get in trail of elusive art thief Pierre Despereaux and after that comedy bombs were busted continuously.

Roday also gave his view why this show has captured minds of millions of fans, “There are so few rules that we have to follow in terms of making this show. I don’t think there are a lot of other shows out there where one week you’re wearing chaps and spurs and riding a horse and the next week you’re running from a potato sack headed killer chasing you into the woods with a machete, and yet you’re still laughing both times. I think it’s a pretty unique little hybrid; it has something for everyone.”

This guy not only makes us laugh in reel life but real life too. His answer how this show changed his life is, “My socks and underwear don’t have holes in them anymore. That was a big deal for me.”

Hey friends! Soon we will be able to watch the movie Dead Air, which has been directed by our very own Corbin Bernsen, whom we know as Henry Spencer on Psych. The movie, which is a zombie flick, has taken two years to complete mainly due to Corbin’s prior commitments with Psych. He had to stop the entire production at least once so that he could return to complete the shooting of Psych TV show. Reportedly, the actor loves making zombie films, which according to him have the flexibility of being made with low moderate and high budget. The movie which is based on a script by Ken Yakkel is currently in search of a distributor. It stars Bill Moseley, Patricia Tallman, Joshua Feinman and David Moscow. The story revolves around a talk radio team trying to warn its listeners about the zombies who are on the loose in Los Angeles, after a huge explosion sets them free. Well, seems like an interesting storyline, what say guys!

I have not known Crobin as a director as I have not been able to see any of his previous ventures. However I really like his performance as an actor, in my favorite series Psych. I have loved the show since it started airing in 2006. Since then I have not missed a single episode of the series that finished airing its Season 3 in the last week of February. This light hearted detective comedy is presented in a fast paced and funny manner which makes it quite an interesting to watch. Psych episodes keeps you hooked not only with great funny script but also with the fantastic acting of every cast member. You really can’t take your eyes off your TV set, once you start watching the show. And by the time an episode ends, you are already holding your stomach due to laughing hard, but are still hungry for more. Now that another brand new season of the show has already been announced, I am eagerly waiting for the return of the series to my television screen. I really hope that the series does not take too long to be back, as it is really difficult with no new episodes of Psych to watch!

When I last wrote about the third season finale ‘Talk Derby to Me’, I was not sure about another season of ‘Psych’. It was not apparent to me, whether series will be back with fourth season or third season will be declared as the series finale season. As of now, I’m feeling very felicitous after reading the latest news on ‘Psych‘ series.

Hey! USA Network has renewed ‘Psych’ for fourth season and it’ll have 16 episodes this time. As per the details revealed by the network, ‘Psych’ attracted 2.24 million viewers last season so they decided to produce another season of a well received show. Jeff Wachtel, USA Network’s Executive Vice President said, “PSYCH has some of the best young demos the network has ever seen and continues to surprise audiences with entertaining storylines”. Really, Psych is one of those series which have a huge fan base and it’s one of my favorite series as well. Luckily, our favorite series is back with another season and I hope the upcoming season will be more stimulating than the previous ones.

‘Psych’, a breezy comedy about Shawn Spencer, a police consultant who solves mysteries with his super power of observation, was the #1 show in 2006. ‘Psych’ season 4 will presumably premiere in July, 2009.

I think the Network has done fine so would like to say a sweet ‘Thanks’ to them. I am pretty sure it will bring a cute smile to your face, if I’ll say, “Hurrah!!…… finally, psychic Shawn is baaaack to fool cops with his psychic abilities”.

Yeah, one thing more, ‘Psych’ will kick off the second half of its current season in January, 2009 and will also air a Special Christmas themed episode on November 28.
