As of now, we all know that fourth season of Psych has been announced by USA Network and it’s supposed to hit our TV screens on June 2, 2009. Sixteen episodes are announced, making the no. of total episodes equal to the no. of previous season’s episodes. First season of Psych had only 15 episodes but the second, third and now fourth one also, has sixteen episodes each.

The beginning of the upcoming season of Psych will be kicked off by the episode entitled ‘He Dead’. Here, we’d, most likely, see Shawn and Gus trying to carry out the last wishes of a billionaire hedge fund manager by unraveling the identity of his murderer. Various other exciting events would be there to tie you to your seat. Sorry guys, I could find no other details to share with you. Let me know if you know anything regarding this upcoming episode of the season 4.

Next episode would be ‘Extradition: British Columbia’. Its airing dates are not announced yet; chances are that it’d follow ‘He Dead’. Shawn and Gus would be seen enjoying their vacation in Canada and also solving mind-twisting mysteries. Next episodes in row are entitled ‘High Noon-ish‘ and ‘Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark‘.

Since the premiere of the series, I’ve been a huge fan of it. It has always done well and has enough to entertain viewers. James Roday, portraying Shawn Spencer; the central character of the series has become a household name throughout America and other parts of the world. It all happened because of the brilliant performance he has given on ‘Psych’ and I am sure, he’d touch the heights of the success if the same continues in the next seasons of ‘Psych’.

Did you watch the episode entitled ‘Talk Derby to me’ aired on September 5, 08? This episode was somehow a special episode of the third season of series and was liked by every viewer of show, yeah…. including me.

Don’t know about you but I liked this episode just because of WWE Diva Mickie James…… this gorgeous gave a very brilliant performance on the show and I watched this episode 15 times, just to see her dazzling act. I must say that the episode was female friendly, sports driven and extremely enjoyable. Episode revolves around very series of puzzling robberies that are linked to a roller derby team. It causes Juliet O’ Hara to go undercover by joining the roller derby team as a member.

Well, story-line was okay and it was a well received episode of third season. Let’s now discuss why it was a special episode. Mickie James, WWE Diva, made it a special one. It was her first guest appearance on a TV series and she decided to appear in the show after series star and huge wrestling fan James Roday (Shawn Spencer) requested her to do so. Read, what she says about her experience in ‘Psych’- “[T]hose (James and Dule Hill) two are characters. They were cutting up the whole time, and it was so hard to keep a straight face a lot of the time because they had me laughing a lot. They were giving me, definitely, a run for my money because we were just joking around the whole time”

In ‘Talk Derby to Me’, she appeared as a roller girl. Currently, she’s appearing on Monday Night Raw. Will she be back again? I don’t know but a ray of hope is here. Hey Mickie! I really want to see you once again on ‘Psych’.

‘Psych‘ is an American comedy drama which centers on Shawn Spencer, a young crime consultant as well as a fake psychic, who possesses very high observational skills and the series follows his highly comical, but also smart, endeavors. Shawn is raised by his no-nonsense cop father, Henry Spencer, and with his help, Shawn develops the powers of acute observation and all other skills which are required to unravel the mysteries. Shawn is capable to recognize the smallest clues and has a very keen eye to find out the details of hidden truths. Henry wants Shawn to join the police department but he strays from his vision and spends many years doing odd jobs. Later on, his impressive detective instincts convince the police authorities to believe that he’s a psychic and he joins the Santa Barbara, California Police Department as the ‘Head Psychic’.

Other central characters on the series are: - Burton “Gus” Guster, Shawn’s reluctant as well as loyal friend who is a pharmaceutical sales representative; Carlton Lassiter, youngest detective for the Santa Barbara, California Police Department, and he has doubts about Shawn’s psychic abilities; Juliet O’Hara, Lassiter’s partner; and Karen Vick, Interim Police Chief. ‘Psych’ solely presents how Shawn solves every case, which others can’t.

‘Psych’ was premiered on July 7, 2006. Currently, series is running with the third season.
